Description
This forgotten gorge lies at Blue Waters which is part of the Kosciuzko National Park in New southWales
Kosciuszko National park Is where you will find Blue Waters. Though not a easy place to get to and I guess that is why it is special. Being out of the way off the major tourist map it has remained relatively unspoilt and lacks crowds. In this picture I have left the car behind and walked a kilometre or so down this forgotten gorge to capture this beautiful landscape.
Not many people get to the northern part of the Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. This beautiful landscape photo was taken one summer while standing in the middle of the river. The Location is actually known as Blue Waters and is some reachable only after quite a drive on a dirt road. Stunning location which also has caves in the hills for people to explore.
The Kosciuszko National Park is my favourite park in New South Wales it includes Australians highest mountain, Mount Kosciuszko. This region also hosts Cabramurra the highest town in Australia. The park is can be found in the southern part of New South Wales. The park is roughly half way between Melbourne and Sydney, and links with the Alpine National Park in Victoria. Its Major bordering towns are Cooma, Tumut and Jindabyne.
